okay well i thought about it over the weekend and came to some conclusions:



a) the writing portion of this blog has completely ceased to amuse me, and like a hundred million other blogs that have run their course it has become embarrassing in its repetitiveness and lack of original or interesting content.



b) accepting a) means i either shut it down completely, or make some changes. since i don't foresee my writing becoming appreciably more funny or interesting in the near future, my choices are limited.



c) most people who visit this site are raymi fans looking for, i dunno, an appendix maybe, to the main raymi story. this makes my site the silmarillion to raymi's lord of the rings. have you tried reading the silmarillion?



d) i like taking photographs.



e) raymi likes posing for photographs.



f) if you are one of the people noted in c) above you probably like looking at photographs of raymi.



g) i post tons of photos to my flickr account where on a good day i might get a few thousand views.... if i've posted something that has the tags raymi and topless.



h) the shots that i like that don't happen to include raymiskin can get overlooked on flickr, since lately i am uploading just tons of stuff.



i) i want these pix to be seen too.



j) funny or (likely) not, i still occasionally have something to say.



conclusion: the plan for now is to use this site to post the photos i like from the larger pool of stuff that i upload to flickr and occasionally, maybe, MAYBE, talk about something. maybe.
